The Standard: New Trendy Luxe Hotel Opening In Singapore In 2023
Bored of the same ol’ staycation spots? Good news: Singapore’s Orchard Road district will soon play host to The Standard, a hip and trendy luxury hotel founded in West Hollywood in 1999 famed for its quirky take on the hotel experience, alluded by its upside-down logo and celebrity-loved status.

Popping up along Orange Grove Road, right across Shangri-La Singapore, this Lion City outpost is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2023. It’s a ground-up establishment, so you can expect everything to be brand new in this five-star hotel.

According to the Ministry of Design, the firm in charge of the hotel’s decor, The Standard, Singapore will take on a Garden City-themed interior, so you can anticipate potted plants and warm textured materials decorated with mid-century modern inspired furniture.

It will boast 143 rooms and suites that enjoy floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking the surrounding greenery and city, a lobby bar, an infinity pool, a pool bar, as well as a restaurant.
