Singapore Cable Car Has New Pokémon Cabins, Themed Photo Spots, Free Merch & Ice Cream
Pokémon fans! You lot are in for a treat, for Singapore Cable Car is giving 67 cabins a makeover to look like Poké Balls starting 1 May to 30 September 2023.

These quirky Poké Balls zipping across the skies on the Sentosa and Mount Faber Lines boast five themed interior designs inspired by first-gen pocket monsters Eevee and Pikachu and newer characters Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

We’re talking the cabin’s windows, seats and flooring adorned with these crowd-favourite characters, so you’ll see Pokémon everywhere as you ride.

Apart from that, a range of Pokémon-themed photo spots will be on display atop Mount Faber Peak, so fans can snap epic photos with vintage cable cars decked out with unique Pokémon decor and 12 Pokémon standees that stretch from the arrival area on the first floor to the cable car station on the second.

Round-trip tickets cost $35 for adults and $25 for children, and all over-the-counter purchases of Mount Faber Line cable car tickets and bundles will allow visitors to redeem a free collectible Pokémon sun visor in four designs featuring Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly.

What’s more, you could score some free mango or strawberry ice cream by posting photos of yourselves with at least two different Pokémon found at Singapore Cable Car to Instagram or Facebook, using the hashtag #SGCableCar50 and tagging @MountFaberLeisure.
