'Love Divine': Party Hard & Celebrate Art On The Rooftop Of CÉ LA VI Singapore

Art and nightlife converge at Love Divine, a two-day event that is jointly organised by CÉ LA VI Singapore and the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA). This year, the theme for the festival is "The Anatomy of Performance – Some People" and the performances aim to capture how everyone experiences the world differently based on our unique circumstances. Held at CÉ LA VI's Club Lounge atop Marina Bay Sands and set against the backdrop of Singapore's cityscape at sunset, this party is sure to be a feast for the eyes.

The event opens with "Still Lives", a durational rope art performance by Daniel Kok and Luke George, who will suspend high net-worth individuals and social media influencers against an aerial backdrop. While the spotlight may be on those who occupy privileged positions in society, you are invited to meditate on your own relationship with wealth and ruminate on the forms of capital you possess, be it economic, social, or cultural.

The other performance, "Children of Venus", is directed by burlesque performer and activist SUKKI. It features the queens of burlesque — Becca D'Bus, Francesca Harriman, and Lychee Bye — as well as aerial artist Adelene Chua. Inspired by Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus", you can expect an unabashed display of femininity and a sassy yet sensual show.
